I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2002 graduating from Keele University and have extensive experience in Neurological Rehabilitation, working both within hospitals, privately and within the community. I have worked extensively with conditions such as Stroke, Brain injuries, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and I am a specialist in spasticity assessment and management.
I currently work as a Physiotherapy lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University alongside my work as a Community Neurological Physiotherapist.
Together with my extensive experience, I also have a masters in neurological rehabilitation, am an active member of ACPIN a special interest group for neurological conditions and I ensure I am always up to date with the latest research and best practice.I am committed to working with individuals to support them to reach their goals and potential. When I am not working you will find me enjoying living in the peak district with my wife, family and not so energetic show cocker spaniel Ernie.
